 Minor Project

For minor we had to select one of the given projects and join a group to work on it throughout the semester. After thinking a lot I joined Healthify because I was interested in seeing the design process of a fitness app since I use fitness apps myself. On The first week we got to know each other and finalized the grouping. After that we moved on to do contextual research individually. We primarily collaborated on Miro.

Then we combined all of the research by everyone and summarized it.

After this we moved onto competitor survey. We essentially compared the competitor apps so we could create our own survey for healthify. But before that we did research on the demographic of competitor apps and a demographic survey of our own to help create the personas.

Once we were done with the demographic survey, we started filling up our Insights discovery, Problem statement and how might we tables

We Also worked on a chart to compare the key features of the most popular apps to see which features would be necessary for our app to compete in the current market. We then finished up the personas and summarized the survey results.

Once we had the survey results we started on our Journey map. Our first journey map was too small so after feedback we expanded our journey map to include all users of the app which are members, content creators and businesses

From the Journey map we were able to identify which content needs to be created so we started by making a list of the all the content needed, then we divided tasks and created a Gantt chart to stay on track with everything.

First step was to make the logo and the branding, After feedback from Mr. Mike, we created a art direction board so that all our content will be consistent with each other. Since so many are working on making different content it was important that everything looked consistent. With the help of the art board, we created all the content we needed over a few weeks time,

We had a sudden name change around the end so we had to come up with a new name and revise all our work. We came up with a few names but ultimately decided on HealthCamp.

Our final step is to make a Spatial space to showcase our work. I first made it in a default gallery space but later was informed to make a custom space. I had issues getting the file to the correct file size so after feedback I used a space recommended by Mr. Mike.
