Image
Major Project For Major project the goal is to create a project within your specialization based on one of three given themes. They are ; based on dissertation, UN SDG's or working with a client. The one I decided to go with was the UN SDG's, specifically Goal one which is End Poverty. Week 1 Week 1 of basic briefing of the project and giving us our task to create the slides on our ideas to present in Week 2. We had to select what we were basing our project on and give ideas on what we plan to make. We also had to do research and create a problem statement for the ideas. Figure 1 - Slides for major project Week 2 For week 2, we presented our ideas and took feedback to get our ideas approved. My idea to create a rotoscope animation was fine and I was told to present more details of the project for the coming week. Week 3 In week 3 I presented more details and got my idea further approved, I was asked to complete the storyboards for the project before getting the footage. Fig...

Minor Project

Minor Project For minor we had to select one of the given projects and join a group to work on it throughout the semester. After thinking a lot I joined Healthify because I was interested in seeing the design process of a fitness app since I use fitness apps myself. On The first week we got to know each other and finalized the grouping. After that we moved on to do contextual research individually. We primarily collaborated on Miro. Figure 1 - My contextual research Then we combined all of the research by everyone and summarized it. Figure 2 - Compilation of research by everyone After this we moved onto competitor survey. We essentially compared the competitor apps so we could create our own survey for healthify. But before that we did research on the demographic of competitor apps and a demographic survey of our own to help create the personas. Figure 3 - Competitor research Once we were done with the demographic survey, we started filling up our Insights discovery, Problem ...

Film Studies & Cinematography - Project 3 - Animation Since I didn't do FSC during the semester I did Animation Fundamentals, I had to redo the animation. Mr. Martin urged me to try out Rotoscoping as it reflected my strengths better since I did video and photos. I'm glad I listened to his advise and took his approach because I learnt a lot and really enjoyed working on this. I did frame by frame animation so it took a while but I'm really happy with the out come. Figure 1 - Adobe Animate Process Figure 1 - ESCAPE - Animation Short

Advanced Animation - Project 3 - Post Production

Project 3 - Post Production After I got feedback on project 2, I went ahead and made changes to the scenes accordingly. I changed up the lights and added flicker to some of them. I also added a hat to the skeleton and cleaned up most of the animations. I added a green screen tot he monitor screen and added a static screen to it in after effects for the final touch. I got the static video from YouTube. Figure 1 - how the green screen was added Figure 1 - Project 3

Advanced Animation - Project 2 - Production

Project 2 - Production After Animatics and acting was done, we moved onto setting up the set in MAYA. I used a rig for my character called Jasmine Rose by Ahmed Shalaby. I first imported my Acting into Adobe animate and listed out how many frames each scenes used and blocked it out in MAYA. I made set before I did this. Figure 1 - Animation Blocking After I blocked out the scenes I started animating scene by scene. After animating the scenes I added rough lighting to see what it would look like in the final render. I rendered the scenes in this lighting for feedback. Figure 2 - Project 2

Advanced Animation - Project 1 - Pre Production

Project 1 - Pre Production For project 1 we had to choose a voice clip of our choice and create a scene using that clip. The scene should be about 15-30 seconds long. We had to storyboard, Act and animatics as a pre production process. Figure 1 - Audio clip chosen. Figure 2 - Storyboard Figure 3 - Storyboard Figure 4 - Acting Figure 5 - Animatics/2d Blockout
