Project 2 (Self Titled) Project 2 is sort of a continuation of self collage exercise. After getting feedback from the compositions for exercise, we must recreate one of those with our own Images. Composition 1 - I put myself in the middle and used the blue texture to make it pop and offset it with green of the plants. Composition 2 - Went with something simple but very colorful neon feel Composition 3 - A bit more complex with alot more samples, while sticking to with a neon theme The lecturer advised to go with composition 1. So I replaced the images in that one with other images i searched for online. Final Composition for Self Titled

We have to design our very own typeface, starting from scratch. We were shown a video of how typefaces are made to get a basic idea. We can look back at lecture of week 5 as it was about font design. In class we had to pick a type face for reference and do sketches. Week 8 :   05 /06/2020 Feedback Session Todays session was feedback on the digitized fonts for all students, and tutorial on how to use fontlab to make your digitized font into and actual font. Project 1 - Self Portrait For our first project we have to make a self portrait using any medium. It must contain a narrative and references. Narrative I went for a very moody, serious and grainy theme for this one. I used photography as my medium as i already have a lot of experience in this. To achieve this moody look I will be keeping it black and white and ill use different reflective objects and mirrors. References Process I used a variety of reflective items I found around the house to make and my camera to take the pics using a tripod. Sony A7III with Sigma 24-70 f2.8 Knife, Spatula and a Bowl Raw files I took variety of angles and edited the ones I chose using Adobe Lightroom. I used alot of grain, Blew out the highlights, and converted them to grayscale to bring out the feel I wanted for the pictures. I used Adobe Photoshop for one composition. We were told to make an editorial piece from tone of the given texts. He had to design a header using our experience in type expression and then the layout using the experience from formatting exercises. First we were told to make rough and tight sketches before digitizing them.
