  Proposal Week 1 This week was a brief on the module, and we had to select a topic according to our specialization. Since mine was animation I went through a few books I found on Google Scholar and selected the topic: Effect of animation and art style on the audience. I made a proposal draft as shown on class today Week 2 Today was a public holiday but we were to keep working on the proposal. Week 3 I got feedback and was told my topic was too broad, and to narrow it down more. The lecturer recommended to focus on just art style and a certain type of animated media. So I selected the topic : Art style of Studio Ghibli. Week 4 My topic was still too broad as per feedback, and my problem statement was not correct. I was also told to read articles instead of books. So I read some articles and changed the topic to : Art style of Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away. I also corrected the problem statement after going through the lecture video again.   Final Project The task for final project is to create a short movie for one of the topics given in the Adobe competition. The topic our group chose is "Dreams Unmasked".   Project 2  Short video with Zach King effect shot The video I selected for this are: https://www.tiktok.com/@zachking/video/6864197122200325382?lang=en or https://www.tiktok.com/@zachking/video/6867895915714284805?lang=en I prefer the first one as it looks easier to pull off and I already have an idea for it. Plot Segmentation - M wakes up to alarm, realizing it's time for class. - M still very groggy and sleepy, gets up and logs into zoom near the desk. - Class starts - Teacher takes attendance, eventually calls M name - No response from M, Blindly stares into the camera. - Cardboard box falls (Zach King effect) from head revealing M is actually asleep.  Project 1 Audio Editing This exercise consists of editing in audio for a clip of Tom and Summer from the movie 500 days of summer. We did it a group to add in dialogue for Tom and Summer, Ambience and other sounds for the scene. My group mates recorded the audio clips for dialogue. It fit in well but minor adjustments had to be done so i used the razor tool to slice the clips and move them around. I used a generator hum and a crowd noise from the BBC sound folder as the background ambience of a crowded train. I Increased the generator hum as Tom notices summer first and as Summer noticed Tom staring to give it a bit more contrast. I got the sliding door sound online, and I recorded the bag and sitting sounds with my phone. I used the slicing bread sound from the BBC sounds as the sound for closing the back. It worked well for a zipper sound after trimming. I sliced up the footstep clip from BBC sounds so that it aligned well to the video. I also recorded a sound for the ...
