 Project 4 - Abstract Motion

We have full creative freedom for this project so we get to choose whatever we do for this project. My idea is to do a collage animation for a song or a voice clip. Since the title of the project is abstract motion, My aim is to create something that is surreal or as some would call it trippy.

Reflection

First off I want to say this has been one of the best modules for me personally. The workload was not extreme compared to the other modules and the learning outcomes from each projects were massive. The first that there were only 4 students helps as there was a lot of personal consultation and feedback. Mr. Fauzi is an amazing lecturer and I've learnt a lot from this modules and made me enjoy working in After Effects. Working on the final project was a breeze because of the organization skills Mr. Fauzi taught us. Working in separate composition made it really easy to put together an idea. It also helped make minor and major changes with ease without tearing apart the entire project.

Advanced Animation - Project 2 - Production

 Project 2 - Production After Animatics and acting was done, we moved onto setting up the set in MAYA. I used a rig for my character called Jasmine Rose by Ahmed Shalaby. I first imported my Acting into Adobe animate and listed out how many frames each scenes used and blocked it out in MAYA. I made set before I did this. Figure 1 - Animation Blocking After I blocked out the scenes I started animating scene by scene. After animating the scenes I added rough lighting to see what it would look like in the final render. Project 3 - Digital Surrealism The objective this project is to create a surreal artwork in photoshop. Below are some examples of digital surrealism. Process My main idea is to use the first cyborg piece I made and put it into a cyberpunk city. Cyborg image of me Image for background - Artwrok by Chin Fong  https://www.chinfongart.com/art I used quick selection to cut out myself into this image, after using healing brush to remove some of the ninja character which was already in the image. Then it was color matched I used the brush tool to add some glow from the pink sign onto my body in a new layer Saturn image I want to add Whale image I added to the sky, Inspired the the song Gojira - Flying Whales More whale Images Whales and Saturn added in Next I brought it into Adobe after effects for animation.
