Final Project

Instructions

Final Project

We have to create a Typeface for a brand, product etc. I has to serve as a solution to a problem we see in the chosen subject. I chose to make a type face for Sony as Sony has been using the same logo with an old font for a long time and they tend to use many different typefaces throughout their massive line of tech products.

I Intend to use the Sony Vaio logo and The PlayStation 5's design as inspiration for my font. I will also keep in mind that it needs to be a font that can be used across all Sony products.

The numbers are less rounded because Sony uses numbers to signify their PlayStation generations.

I did some mockups of sony products with new logos as the collateral for this project. The weight of the logos are increased because the lecturer mentioned that it lacked weight.
