Project 1
Our first project is to use Adobe Photoshop to manipulate a picture of myself into a cyborg. We are assigned to only change a part of our body and the part i chose was one of our my arms. The reason I chose my arm is that the arms are an important part of our body which we use everyday. So if we get a cyborg arm it'll be stronger and wont get tired as easily so it'll make life very convenient.

I plan on making the arm one of those white colored cyborg arms which are split into different sections, revealing the wires and machinery between the sections connecting them.
Got feedback and was asked to include a fullbody sketch.

Process
I used my camera on a tripod to take the picture. Using my phones remote play to activate shutter and to frame myself. I took a few shots and chose one i was happy with. I also searched up some PNG Images to use with my cyborg edit.

I started by bringing it into Photoshop and then making a copy of the image in another layer. I removed the arm completely from the background layer using the different content aware tools. I removed the complete arms because then I would have more flexibility while making the cyborg parts of the arm. Then I made slits in the the arm of my top layer using the pentool.

I then added cross sections using pentool so that Itll look like its cut. I added the machine and wire in new layers behind the arm between the slits. After that I selected the arms skin using the quick selector and adjusted the brightness/contrast and the hue/saturation to make it look like a white material.

Then I brought the image into Adobe Lightroom to make color adjustments and crop it. |

After getting feedback, I was told to include a story or and idea behind the image so I decided to retake another pic. I followed the exact same steps as the last one to do this one as well.

After getting feedback, I was advised to change the content of the screen I was looking at to something relevant and to raise the shadows a bit. I changed the screen to a blueprint of a robot arm.
